I have a fabu Detours Toocan  pannier that I love.  I have been using it for about a year now and one day a couple weeks ago it broke!  The steel clip that hangs it from my rack came right off.  Thank goodness the bag did not come off while on Morrisey Blvd of course, couldn’t be a nice quiet side street.   So it has been sitting, and I have been researching new bags.  Back packs are ok but I prefer panniers.  So its been a while, and I start looking at other Detours products.  The have a few really nice ones but I am stuck on this Toocan.  Soooooo….

I took a shot and called the company and explained what happened.  And you  know what they said?  They said they were sorry, it was a design flaw and they are sending me the new one with the new clips right away no charge!  So I asked if they wanted the old one and the very nice lady on the other end told me to just keep it and use it as a shopping bag!  Score for Detours!  What a great company.  Most of the time you  have to fight just to return something after is has been used.  And lets be real these bags get the crap kicked out of them on my bike.  I just got the new one today.

So props to Detours, great company, great products and very helpful!  I will continue to spend my well earned money with them for sure!
